This charming renovated 1940’s cottage sits at the front of our property, just a short walk to the stream. With a large wrap around porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing, you can sit and relax while grilling out on the charcoal grill just outside your kitchen door. Inside, your cottage has a traditional layout with two bedrooms. The cozy living room has a gas fireplace for snuggling up in the cooler months and a large flat screen TV with a DVD Player and expanded cable for watching movies or catching a game. In the kitchen there is everything you would need for preparing a big weekend breakfast or dinner after a day of adventuring.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed and adjoins the second bedroom with a “Jack and Jill” style bathroom. The bathroom is complete with a tub/shower combo for getting ready for your days of exploring. In the second bedroom there is a full size bed tucked into a sleeping nook with overhead light and bookshelves on both sides for late night reading.

The Potting Shed has 2 bedrooms as well as a full size sofa sleeper in the living room. It is a short walk to the stream, towards the front of our property. This renovated cottage is so charming with a spacious living room that includes a cozy arm chair, perfect for enjoying the gas fireplace during the cooler months. If the kids are busy watching DVD’s borrowed from our lending library on the flat screen TV, enjoy the peace and quiet on your porch’s rocking chairs or swing. Just steps from your porch, there is a small wisteria-covered arbor with a great view of Mt. Pisgah on a clear day.

Prepare all or some of your meals in the eat-in-kitchen, equipped with everything needed for everyday cooking. The master bedroom is charming with an angled ceiling, patchwork quilts, and a new queen size bed. Adjustable arm lamps and Wi-Fi make lounging in bed comfortable. The private second bedroom has a full size bed. The shared bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

The Katydid is a quaint one bedroom renovated cottage that is just a short walk to the stream. Enter into the newly appointed living room which opens to a dining nook with a large window to enjoy the view.

Your kitchen provides everything needed for preparing meals during your stay. For those who prefer to dine al fresco, step out your back door to a private back deck with a hidden view of the stream, complete with a porch swing and table. Or, use the charcoal grill in the side yard and eat under the trees at the cabin’s picnic table.

The living room’s new wood and stone gas fireplace has built in shelves for storing a few books and DVDs and a flat screen TV mounted above it. The log walls of this cabin and new queen size mattress make the bedroom feel warm and inviting. Swing arm lamps and Wi-Fi add to the comfort of this cozy cabin. The bathroom has a shower and restored antique sink.

Just below the back deck, your back yard and two hanging hammock chairs await. Look and listen to the stream down below or watch the birds feed from the feeder.

Our King Cabins are the perfect vacation home for large parties. They can sleep up to 12 in two private bedrooms with double beds, an upstairs loft with two double and two single beds, and a futon in the living room. This cabin has all you need – full kitchen, full bath, TV, large front entrance deck and plenty of space.

The Firefly Cabin is tucked back into a private garden area overlooking the stream. It is the same floor plan as its sister cabin, the Whippoorwill, which shares the same herb and perennial garden and fountain. Arrive at this cabin and walk into an open kitchen which flows into the dining, and living areas with high vaulted ceilings and wood beams. The complete kitchen has everything needed for making meals while visiting and features beautiful Mexican tile counter tops. Just outside is your private picnic area with view of the stream and charcoal grill for eating al fresco.

The focal point of the living area is the beautiful stone fireplace with large flat screen TV mounted over the wood mantle. The sofa, wing back chair and glider rocker will have everyone relaxing indoors and the back door to the large back deck will have the outdoors calling. The deck, with view of the stream below has a table, rocking chairs and a porch swing. A perfect gathering place! This cabin has one bedroom downstairs with king size bed, remote controlled ceiling fan, swing arm lamps for relaxing and reading in bed, and a door that opens onto the large back deck overlooking the stream with sounds of the water that will lull you to sleep. The bathroom is on the first floor with a tub/ shower combo with all of your linens provided. Upstairs is the open loft that overlooks the living room. Perfect for two Full size beds with a little nook complete with rocking chair, lamp and table.

The Hummingbird is a two bedroom cabin that sits overlooking the stream. This is a very accessible cabin with only two steps up to enter the kitchen door and has a private parking area right at your back door. As you walk into the cabin’s kitchen, there are all the necessities needed for preparing food during your stay. Continue through to the living room for relaxing after a day of sightseeing on the sofa or glider rocker. Sit at the dining area with views out to the stream for early mornings, planning your day on the free Wi-Fi or watching your favorite show on the flat screen TV.

There are two private bedrooms, each with queen size beds, warm wood surroundings and patchwork quilts. The front bedroom has a large picture window which slides open to allow the sounds of the stream to lull you to sleep at night. The bathroom is small but efficient, and all of your linens are provided. This cabin has a shower only. No bathtub.

The front porch sits perched up high on the hillside with the most amazing breezes and views of the stream. There you can swing on the porch swing, rock in the rocker, or dine at the table and watch the water below.

The Chickadee is a romantic cabin for two that sits overlooking the stream. Walking up to the porch you will find a porch swing for enjoying the view of the stream as well as a table to enjoy meals or morning coffee with the soundtrack of the stream as your music.

As you walk into this open concept cabin you will be greeted by a little world of your own. The king size bed arrangement is set to the right of the cabin. From bed, watch a DVD on your flat screen TV or enjoy the romance of having the fireplace on with the glow of the fire from your living area.

After a day of hiking area waterfalls and our private trails or visiting the Biltmore, come back to your “home away from home” and cuddle up on the sofa or dine at your table with take out from one of Asheville’s amazing restaurants. If you are in the mood to cook then everything needed is provided in the small but efficient kitchen. Just off of your kitchen, your back door leads to a private back porch with charcoal grill and seating area. The bathroom has a tub/ shower combo and all of your linens provided.

The Mockingbird is a romantic cabin for two that sits overlooking the stream. On the front porch you will find a porch swing for enjoying the view of the stream as well as a table to enjoy meals or morning coffee while listening to the calming sound of the stream.

As you enter this open concept cabin you are instantly taken in by its warm and romantic feel. The king size bed with handcrafted log headboard and patchwork quilt is set to the right of the cabin. From the bed, open the large window and allow the sounds of the stream to sooth you to sleep at night. Choose a romantic movie from our large DVD lending Library and snuggle in front of the flat screen TV and stone fireplace in the living area or relax and listen to some of your own favorite tunes on your iPod, using the iPod docking station provided in each cabin.

Dine at your table (inside or on the porch) with take out from one of Asheville’s wonderful restaurants, sure to please any foodie, or if you are in the mood to cook then everything needed is provided in the small but efficient kitchen. Just off of your kitchen, your back door leads to a private back porch with charcoal grill and seating area.

After a day of biking, zipping, touring and hiking our private trails, come back to your “home away from home” and sooth your muscles in the large two-person air tub.

The air tub is just off of your enclosed bathroom (with tub/ shower combo) in a private room with a large picture window framing the view of our meadow and mountains in the distance and large wall mirror. The two person tub just calls to be surrounded with flower petals and candles for a night of romance. Check with the office for details about adding flowers, robes, or something special to your stay.

Streamside location, aged knotty pine walls, heirloom antiques, and beautiful hand-crafted quilts sets the cozy mood for our delightful Duck Tavern cabin and modern, fully appointed kitchen and bath, widescreen TV with DVD with expanded cable and free Wi-Fi. Duck Tavern boasts an open floor plan with a loft that features both a Queen size bed and a Twin size Daybed with an additional Twin trundle bed for when you are vacationing with many or a first floor King size bed for a comfortable getaway for two. New photos of Duck Tavern’s loft have not been posted yet, so take a look at Willow Creeks Loft. Layout and bedding is the same. Different quilts and antiques.

The Speckled Trout Cabin is a cozy two bedroom plus loft, 2 bathrooms, streamside cabin with an open loft upstairs, sleeping up to 8 comfortably. As you pull your car into your private parking area you will see across from your cabin our large beautiful meadow with plenty of room to play and hammocks for relaxing. There’s a spacious pavilion for cooking out as well.

Walk through the side door to the kitchen which is equipped with everything needed for big family meals at the large table. The living room has vaulted wood ceilings and surrounds a cozy space to watch the flat screen TV or a DVD from our lending library. In cooler months the stone fireplace is the perfect focal point from the sofa while you curl up with a good book.

This cabin, unlike the other two streamside cabins, offers two bedrooms on the main floor. Each of the bedrooms has a queen size bed with antique iron headboards & a patchwork quilts. There is one bathroom on the main floor.

Upstairs, the large open loft has a Queen-Size bed with a twin trundle and a full bath.

The real highlight of our streamside cabins is the view and access to the stream. Just 5 yards from the water, you can sit on your porch swing or rocking chairs while listening to sounds of nature or surf the free Wi-Fi in the great outdoors. Dine al fresco on the front porch after cooking out on your charcoal grill, or watch the kids fish and play in the stream without leaving your cabin’s porch. For those who want to explore more, walk through the play field to our bridge that crosses the stream and takes you into our woodland hiking trails.

The Willow Creek Cabin is a large open floor plan streamside cabin. Once you have parked in your private parking area you will enter the cabin from the back porch with views of our large meadow and mountains in the distance. Walk through the open kitchen which flows into the dining and living areas and out to the streamside porch. The open concept of this cabin allows for conversing with family and friends while preparing meals, gathered around the table for game night, or enjoying snuggling in the living room. The full kitchen is complete with dishware, cookery and cutlery, and has a view from the sink out to our meadow and recreation area, the picnic pavilion close by. The living room has wood vaulted ceilings up to the loft and a stone fireplace with large flat screen TV as well as comfy seating area with sofa, glider rocker, and wing back.

Opposite the living area and behind the loft stairs is the king size bed with handcrafted log headboard, patchwork quilt and view out to the stream. There is a bathroom with tub/ shower combo on the main floor. Upstairs, the large open loft has a Queen-Size bed, a Twin Trundle and a full bath.

NOTE: The Cricket’s bedroom just underwent a total renovation and photos have not been posted yet. It does have a king size bed.

The Cricket Cabin is a streamside one bedroom cabin. This very accessible cabin has a parking area just steps from your front door. This cabin is not ADA compliant, but it is “Disability Friendly” so please ask about that if you have questions about the accessibility.

When you enter into the living area you will find beautiful hardwood floors and a large window looking out to the stream. With a sofa and glider rocker you can recline and watch a DVD on your flat screen TV or cozy up on a cool day in front of your gas fireplace. Step inside the kitchen where there is everything needed for basic cooking and a dining table to enjoy the streamside view from inside. The kitchen is cheerfully done in Mexican tile.

The bedroom has a queen size bed with an antique headboard and patchwork quilts. Off of your bedroom is the bathroom that has a large walk-in shower with seat.

Through the kitchen door walk out onto the wrap around porch with views of Mt. Pisgah and the Blue Ridge Mountains, not to mention our beautiful stream. Swing on your porch swing, dine at the outdoor table, or walk down the stairs to the stream. Because this cabin sits off by itself, it has the added bonus of a quarter acre of property all to itself. This means a private hammock, swing by the water, and bonfire ring just for Cricket guests. Imagine grilling diner on the charcoal grill only feet from the water or swinging in the breeze on the shaded hammock.
