Small Weddings

Our property is open year-round and we have a 3-4 night minimum stay depending on the time of year.  Please call our office prior to making your reservation to check for any available discounts or for shorter stay availability. We do offer discounts and special packages in the months of May and September. Our staff looks forward to helping you plan this most special event here at Mountain Springs. We want this to be a memorable stay for you and your group. Once you have chosen Mountain Springs Cabins for your wedding, please contact our office. We will block your wedding dates for 4 days to give your friends and family time to get online to make their reservations. Our office also has a sample letter that we can email you, giving wedding guests information and links to our website and area activities. We feel it is best to let each party make their own reservation, unless you are going to be responsible for the bill.  We find most people tend to keep their reservations when done in this manner.


Our property is reserved for registered guests only. If you wish to have any guests on the property that are not registered paying guests, this must be discussed well in advance with the office, due to liability issues and the amount of people staying on the property. In large groups, the picnic pavilion or bonfire area is usually the main gathering-place. We do ask that you review our Wedding & Reunion policy with everyone and make sure they understand it.


Bikes, scooters or skateboards are welcome on the property but not on the “Big Hill”, due to liability issues. We ask that children be supervised at all times. The playground equipment and stream areas are for everyone’s enjoyment, but since they are not staff supervised, please have an adult present when children are playing in these areas. We will set up recreation equipment & inner tubes etc. at the recreation area, so your group does not have to go back and forth to the office to check these items out. It will all be checked out to you and is expected to be returned to us in good condition.


Please make arrangements with our office if you would like to have a bonfire. At times the US Forest Service requires us to pull a fire permit. Bonfire wood bundles with a fire starter are $6.00 each.  We ask that guests do not bring their own bonfire wood. The same is true for the picnic pavilion. It is here for you to enjoy. You need to reserve the pavilion to assure it is available for your group. If you are booking the whole property, then it is of course there for you at any time and there is no need to check with the office. Quiet time begins at 10:00 PM. This is out of respect for other cabins and our neighbors.


We are here to help you with anything you might want to plan. We have florists, musicians, caterers; etc. Group childcare activities can be arranged with at least a two-week notice. We have staff that can organize an afternoon or evening of games, exploring, bonfire and cookout if your group would like to have a little “Adult time”.
